Technical Insider
SyndARn stores data locally (on your pc hard disk). File
format is XML. Actually SyndARn file format is ... RSS. You may open them
in your browser to display them.
Starting from SyndARn version, all data are store in a SQLite
database.
Check here for SyndARn, components, SQLite and Delphi.
You need Vista or XP. We are working on an open version
of SyndARn with system target like Ubuntu.
- Dirty feeds done dirt ...
Data coming from RSS feeds are ... well "dirty".
They are a lot of format (RSS 0.91, 0.92, 1.00, 2.0, Atom ...). And only
basic nodes in the XML format are defined and mandatory (after all, even
in RSS 2.0, date are not mandatory). SyndARn has been designed to overcome
this.
